The Village Sematan ~ Sematan Geng

Hai Everyone!! How is your day??

You might want some vacation right??

Today I gonna talk bout The Village Sematan.. ^^

Its start with...

This English Academic Purposes's subject that i take at UNITAR, Sarawak.

Mr. Paul Chandran the course leader for this subject had told us to do some short trip or in other word  Assignment.. which each groups will present at infront of the class.

Well, our groups which consist of five of us, me, emi, sofia, daro and ana had choose The Village Sematan.

What i can say bout this place is.. erm.. IT's FANTASTIC and BOMBASTICK..

Its near the Sematan Town and only taken 2 hours drive from Kuching, Sarawak.

We HERE!!!
Sematan populated by mostly Chinese, Malay and also Bidayuh.

Their major living activities are Chinese as the Businessman, Malay and Bidayuh as Farmer and Fisherman.

But, from what I can see,  some of the Malays open up stall to sell up the traditional pastries and also some drinks. They also sell the vegetables at the vegetable/wet market near the Recreational Park.

Sematan Town is facing the South China Sea, you can see the Pulau Talang Talang which is a protected area, permission from the Forestry is needed to be able to visit it. Pulau Talang-Talang as i know from the local villager, is an area for the sea turtle to lay eggs.

This the Sematan Town Jetty..
Its so long, we might get sunburn along the way to the end. Hehe..

The Two Small Hills is Call Pulau Talang-Talang.

Along the Jetty, got some old villager fishing. We knew about Pulau Talang-Talang from the Mak Cik. She said that Pulau Talang -Talang divided to two which is Pulau Talang Kecil and Pulau Talang Besar.

The bicycle that i borrowed is from the Uncle. He said be careful, the bike got no break. I ride the bike till the end. Missing my old bike at home. Huhu..

Local villagers in their boats.

After some photos taken, some memories recorded, we went to the Recreational Park.

Along the way to the Recreational Park you might see some coffee shop, grocery shop, food shop, wet market and etc.

Okie, enough bout Sematan Town, lets go to THE VILLAGE SEMATAN.

This is the Entrance.

We went to Sematan by car driven by Ms. Sofia. hehehe..
The first people you want to see at TSV is the receptionist. (Of cos lah..haiyo.. )

After we take our room key, we went to our room. Let's check about the room.

This is some of the basic facilities in the room. I think different type of house will have different type of facilities. The toilet is okay, clean and it included with hot shower.
Every house will have one set of BBQ utensils, and if you want too cook u may borrow the cooking utensils at the restaurant. For the BBQ, they only provide the half cut oil drum and 2 long rods.

Let's see what is outside the room.

Swimming Pool.

This the TV room. Its open to all guests.
Game room for kiddo.
